The Cony track and field athletes had to wait an extra two weeks to begin their season with the opening meet being postponed due to weather and it was worth the wait!

Team scores from the meet which was held at the McMann Complex in Bath:

Girls: Cony 266, Lisbon 78, Skowhegan 78, MCI 76, Morse 50, Oceanside 25
Boys: Cony 183, Lisbon 143.5, Morse 101.5, MCI 75, Skowhegan 68, Oceanside 15

On the girls side Cony scored 1st place in 12 of 19 events and had individuals earn points in every event.

Cony has a lot of young talent on both the boys and girls side and the teams continue to grow in numbers. “We brought 40 boys and 30 girls here today.” said Coach Millett.

WAY TO GO RAM TRACK ATHLETES!

The next meet is Tuesday April 30th at Lewiston and then the 1st home meet is scheduled for Thursday May 2nd.
